The only Monastery in the UK to avoid the dissolution by Henry VIII – St Benet’s Abbey dates back over 1000 years to the time of King Cnut. There are many stories to tell about this fascinating site & our volunteer tour guides will share these & their knowledge of uprisings, connections to Norwich Cathedral, graffiti & so much more. (Please note that the tour guide will choose which stories to tell, so tours will vary)
