The Council for British Archaeology’s annual Festival of Archaeology is back for its 29th year in 2020 offering hundreds more opportunities to get involved in archaeology across the UK – but this year’s Festival will be slightly different due to the current Coronavirus situation.
From 11th to 19th July there will be a digital Festival, with a programme of online events for people to take part in. NAT will be joining in with their climate and environment theme by encouraging everyone to get involved and get creative with their #RubbishArt competition.
We’d love you to recreate your favourite NAT site from objects you can find around the household, then post a picture of your creation on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #RubbishArt and tag us @NorfArchTrust and @archaeologyuk. CBA are offering prizes!
The last day to submit your entries for the competition is 31 July 2020. Visit https://festival.
