Norfolk Archaeological Trust (NAT) is seeking to recruit a Volunteer Co-ordinator who will assist the Trust with transition to a new sustainable business model.

The Volunteer Co-ordinator will support NAT’s current volunteer base (circa 80 volunteers) and recruit and develop new volunteers to support implementation of our strategy for engaging local communities in support of our conservation and site-management aims.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience of community engagement, recruiting and supporting volunteers, developing and working with Friends-type groups; and experience of working in the heritage/conservation sector.

Salary: Permanent part-time post. The position is offered as 2.5 days a week at an annual salary of £22k pro rata (i.e. £11k for 2.5 days), with 14 days annual leave including bank holidays. Hours can be flexible across the week. Some occasional weekends and evenings.

Based: Home based, travel throughout Norfolk. Full driving licence and own car required
