Norfolk Archaeological Trust Launches ‘Support Your Site’ Scheme at Tasburgh Enclosure

Norfolk Archaeological Trust (NAT) has announced the launch of its new Support Your Site scheme at Tasburgh Enclosure, following its Annual General Meeting in November. This initiative is the first of three NAT heritage sites to introduce the scheme, with St Benet’s Abbey and Caistor Roman Town set to follow.

The Support Your Site scheme offers local communities and heritage enthusiasts a meaningful way to help care for and protect the site they love and visit, ensuring it remains a special place for future generations. Members will enjoy exclusive benefits, including a biannual newsletter, invitations to a summer social event, a car sticker and recognition on NAT’s website. Long-term supporters will also be acknowledged on-site with a commemorative plaque.

Natalie Butler, Director of Norfolk Archaeological Trust, said:
“Tasburgh Enclosure is a remarkable site with deep historical roots. Through this scheme, we’re inviting people to play an active role in safeguarding its future while enjoying a closer connection to Norfolk’s heritage.”

Membership options are available for individuals and organisations, with contributions supporting essential conservation work, community engagement, and educational initiatives.
