Volunteer Resources

On this page you will find all the forms and policies you need to carry out your volunteer role, from induction to every day forms for travel expenses and recording hours as well as useful health and safety information.

Induction

All volunteers recieve a full induction when they start with us. We want to make sure that volunteers get the most out of their time with the Trust and have created a handbook for new volunteers. This book gives you an overview of the Trust and an outline of all the things you need to know to volunteer with us. It compliments a more specific role induction you will recieve with your volunteer manager when you start.

Health and Safety

The Trust is committed to providing healthy and safe conditions for our volunteers when carrying out their tasks. We do this by carrying out risk assessments and providing volunteers with the information, training and equipment they need to remain safe whilst carrying out their role.

To help us ensure our sites are safe, volunteers are reminded that they have a duty of care for themselves and also others who may be affected by their actions on sites. As part of this, we provide volunteers with emergency procedures for each site which can be found below, as well as an incident reporting form to report any accident, incident or near miss.
